    "One liners"

Over the past week several people have been posting a series of one-liner posts that have no value at all. These posts are being made on all boards. I will not bother to name names, there's no reason to.

These posts are rather annoying and disrupt the normal flow of information. The number of reported posts over the past few days has also multiplied by at least a factor of 10.

From now on these posts will simply be deleted. They will not be saved to another board such that someone's post cound may be maintained. They will just dissappear.

More info on the boards posting pollisy may be found on the annoncement and here.

    Thank's for your time,

    Kermi3

sure, but you try fighting off and ignoring massive spam only to have it reappear every month. Save that "humor" for your real-life friends, k?

who cares about posts that exist just to increase post counts? so the people will have slightly more inflated egos. what harm does it cause?

As always one liners that have a point will be left. It's the posts like the one I saw yesterday that read nothing but "Now" that will be deleted.

I agree with kermi3, oneliners that have no meaning shouldn't even be there. Time to time we get a ton of those, and while they aren't long [only one line], they are POINTLESS.

    I say: Oneliners, BEGONE!
This is my signature. Remind me to change it.

What about oneliners that say something like:

Thanks <insert name here>, You were a great help to me.

    Lightbulb

everybody seems to be focused on this message right now...a bit off subject, but...i know you all can relate - like have you ever noticed that there are times when you write code at a moderate pace; there are times when you cannot write code for crap; & then there are those times when you can write a week's worth of progress in a half hour? or is it just amateurs like me? btw, these boards rule for their layout.

Yeah Sed, sometimes I can write about 1,000 times of code in 3 minutes, other times when I complie it says, "18 gazillion errors".
