    Anyone else notice that win xp prof starts up kinda slow?

    Ok, no seriously. I mean has anyone else noticed this? Has anyone figured out if their is something to change, or do I need to go registry hunting again......

    My friend has it and he says it goes medium slow. Can't really know for sure unless you tell us eggggsactly how slow it goes.

    Actually I'm running it on a P4 1.7 Ghz with 1 Gig of ram, thats why I was wondering( I know their are faster systems out there but this is the fastest laptop I could find). If its just redetecting hardware everytime though, I'm not that concerned, thanx for the input.
