Was it your server space? I highly doubt it was. It was your input, you volunteered it to the board willing in a peaceful manner, and someone though that it was inapropriate for this board. It was deleted. Cry about it . Put it on another hacking board and you'll still get flamed there too! So DON'T EVEN TRY!

Dayknight, any information we give you, I know you'll use it in the wrong ways...
You can't study to be a hacker.. you can't read tutorials on how to become a hacker... if or when you ever get to the stage of being a hacker, you'll know it.

For now, soak up any information you can relating to computers and how they work... it's that simple.

This thread needs to be deleted

Look at the FTP address in my signature.. I'm sure you'll find it to be the same.

Big deal, that Cyberarmy page just shows you how insecure Windows browsers are, IE 6.0 fixes all of these 'crashes'. No harm was done to your computer... move on.

    okay? (sarcastic)

fyi, it did harm my computer maybe not permentantly but it ****ed up my active desktop, and it slowed it down for a while, it took work to get it going again, work that i shouldn't have had to do, your example makes no sense. what was the point of that? again you were supposed to test me? and r u lynex penguin, if you are and htat knight guy is, or whatever, if you have that many screen names, then you probably r looking out to be malicious, it's harder to track you down and kick you off, if you change names often. i have gotten over it., but arg... you ........ me off lynex penguin.

Who are you accusing of being Lynex-Penguin or whatever his name is?
Active Desktop? Click "Restore my Active Desktop"
Restart your computer... All harm is done. A friend sent me that link... I clicked on it. And you know what? The first thing that came to me was "I wonder how that was done". That my friend is a fundamental question.

    You need a role model.

Most programmers grow out of the destructive hacking mentality. I can only assume that you're young and inexperienced by your posts. You're not a hacker just because you can run a program someone else wrote and gain access to a computer.

A true "hacker" will write his own software and read through thousands of lines of code to get information and understanding. They have a broad knowledge of computer architecture, hardware and software. This is not stuff you can easily pick up in a weekend or read in a tutorial. Most "hackers" use a UNIX OS but are familiar with the internal workings of operating systems in general. They also know different networking protocols and the structure behind them. They are fluent in multiple programming languages, assembly and C being languages of choice.

If you want to become a hacker, then join an open-source project and contribute something or modify a program to extend its functionality. Don't spend your time looking for simple tutorials and expect to become "elite".

On a side note, hackers are literate and they use proper grammar.
