"they act like there's something wrong with nationalism."
There is, it promotes conflict.
"but it just ticks me off that they ignore the fact they many others do FAR FAR worse, and they sit back and act like its ok then"
That is very true, many anti-US people are just as defensive about their own countries. And yes there are plenty of regemes far far worse than the U.S.
"1.) if your sayin pople have no clue abut anything then that is the fact on both sides U.S. and it's haters the majority of both have no clue"
It is true on both sides... to an extent. Non-US people often know about events that show the U.S. in poor light, but not about events that show their own country up.
However as I said the US is the most powerfull country in the world as such it has a lot of focus on it. The reaction that comes back is often one that seems to say "Hey we've never done anything wrong, America is GREAT, etc. etc." which doesn't exactly help the problem.
"2.) maybe for some but not all of us, many of us are not so blind"
Perhaps, but i do think that if a person is brought up in an environment where something is treated as positive, then they find it very difficult to appraise that same subject with objectivity.
" don't have the time nor the inclination to go into a hundred post debate with people that have no clue what the hell they're talking about"
"i've been in to many arguements in boards where use opinion as fact and have no clue what they are arguing about. "
Heh, I know that problem
