I Have Read Books On The Possiblility Of World War Three And They All Pretty Much Share The Same View.

Human Beings Would Never Had The Chance To Live As High-Tech Living Creatures Anymore.

It Should be Noted That After World War Two, People Had Gone Matured And Begin To Concentrate Their Knowledge On Positive Things, Like Technology (We All Love That Don't We.).

AT THAT TIME, There Is Still More Than Enough Resources e.g Oil, Coal, etc...For Us To Rebuild Our Home, Technology....Everything.

We Had Come A Long Way, Resources Had Drop To The Point That We Must Learn To Rely On Solar Now, At Least Sooner Or Later(We All Knew That Don't We?).

So The Saying Goes That When Everything Is Destroyed, There Would Not Be Enough Resources Left To Rebulid Even Half As Much Technology As We Have Now.

the people of america did not do anything. the heads of the army
and the politicians are doing ****ty things. wars and stuff, they
are saying that it is for "helping people" but of course actually it
is for the money, everything they do is for the money. it is not bad
because every country and every man does many things for
money and power. the terrorists do not care about that. they
think that if they kill innocent people something wrong will be
corrected. and now of course america must bomb these cities.
if not it is like a message that will say "we are open for terrorism
action".

It is Kind Of Sad If There Really Is Really No More Computers In The Future, Only In The Museum.

The war will not be faught as ww1 and ww2 were, this war will be based on technology. The crime investigation is done by computers, communications sre digital, missiles are chop controlled, there are thousands of incredinly advanced real time aircraft and millitary system that we dont even know about. In the event of a war we will probably become more technologically advanced more than anything. We will be preparing for future wars.

I think the technology will make this war different from others, but the need for intelligence and the need for actually finding who we will attack will make it even more different.

I find it rather a morbid subject and would avoid thinking about the next world war. It's too depressing.

I'll think about that French work I have to have done for college tomorrow...

If there's an all out war it will not be like any world war, or any war ever fought. The thing is there is one super power. The US could nuke the world, it has the power. And for that reason it is my hope that no one will use weapons of mass destruction for fear of US retaliation.

Also, there will not be one or even 2 or 3 battle fronts as in previous wars. It will be fluid, there will be many small revolutions and wars going on all over the place, a map maker's nightmare. I do not think that the US will fully commit itself anywhere. Mainly because thanks to technology it does not have to in order to knock someone out. I think the US will be enaged in small battles here and there, and in commando raids/ops, but i do not think the US (or the rest of NATO) will actually enage in full out war as we know it.

Instead, rather than destroy technology it wil build it. Every war brings tech revolution thanks to the desire to get ahead of your enemy. Well in this war, computers, unmanned vehicals, and AI will all be things that the US will work on developing. I think the US's main threat is terrorism, i don't think anyone would dare to assault teh US head on conventionally. And in this respect the US will be tested, both on how much it can protect itself without taking people's rights, and on what new technologies and tehniques it can come up with to combat terrorists and spys domestically. There will be "internet battles" to protect mainframs from hackers, new guns and planes will be pushed to the limit.

I do not think we will drop back to the stone age becase i don't think anyone would feel powerful enough to truely use weapons of mass destruct. The US has too many nukes and other mass weapons spread out too much around the world...forgiegn bases subs aircraft carriers etc. Instead like many if not most wars our technology and lifestyle will zoom forward.

At least that's my take on things...

There are a number of countries with a sufficiently large warhead stockpile to acheive this, and at least three of those have the delivery system as well, (Russia, UK and France - China does not have a sufficiently reliable ICBM capability yet). There are also a number of other states that have sufficient warheads to create massive fallout problems around the globe.

Well, that much is obvious. What about biological, chemical or nuclear terrorism - it surely cannot be long before this is realised in the US. Remember, nerve gas attacks have already happened in Japan for example.

I'm not sure anyone would be willing to use them agianst the US for fear of retrobution...maybe though, i problably just odn't want to think about it.

World War 3

I dout that technolgy will advance at all during world war 3. In fact in order to win the West would need to actruly go back in technolgy. Not only would we be fighting indivdual contries but also groups of people who act by them selves.

These people have nothing to blow up, nothing to destroy. the can move faster then we can. They would not engage in battles, but instead atack and hide. These atacks would happen at random spots across the globe. Some of these ateacks would be provented by technolgy at the begining. These people are smart and relize this so it would be only a matter of time until they have the cabiblties to remove the teachnolgy.


No in order to win this war we would need to manully find and destroy them. That is the only way.

What if this was staged in order to allow the government access into our personal lives by allowing them to monitor everything we do. Im sure they do this to some extent already but now that this event has happened it gives them public support to do this and more because the emotions of the nations are veunerable, and people want something done. Im sure this isn't the case but im paranoid tonight.:confused:
