On most motherboards there are 3 IDE controllers:
Each controller can usually hold 2 drives, giving you a max of 6 drives. However, can you have more than 6 controllers?
What if I wanted to add a 3rd CDROM to my computer, but the Secondary controller already has 2, and the primary controller has 2 hard drives? The floppy controller obviously cant take a CDROM drive....
Meanwhile, on a totally unrelated topic, my Age of Empires CD is being gay...
i think there are PCI cards for that you'll have to look around for what they're called though,
as for gay CD's my AOE2 CD cracked for no reason about a month after i got it! how that for gay?
>>as for gay CD's my AOE2 CD cracked for no reason about a month after i got it! how that for gay?
Hmm....that is increadibly gay......
heres a link so you can see they really exist, though i doubt you'd want to buy them form here(for some reason i don't know)
just so you know what to look for i guess.
My AOE2 CD is the only CD I've ever had problems with (read errors etc) and I dont even use it that much.
My NFS5 cd cracked after 10 uses. Hows that for being GAY.
This may seem stupid to you all but "GAY"
Whats does GAY mean in relation to cd
PS. English is not my first language. I can understand a lot except for some slangs and local terms.
Gay refers to homosexuals in most contexts.
But on the internet Gay has evolved to be read as "not very good" or "unfair"
for instance This game is Gay means this game is not very good
You wanna buy a PCI IDE Controller, i want to do this as well but my main IDEs are full up. The PCI card usally has two more IDE slots on, giving you 4 more devices. There about £30 in the UK.
Heres a link...
As for AOE2 i dont play strats, only fps mainly with gore :)
