Question prolog question; Can they be asked?

    Hi everyone,

I have been doing quite a bit of programming in prolog for the past month or so, and was wondring if anyone knows anything about it. I have a specific program which works, but with repeated correct answers.(hopefully it will become a bit more clear when someone looks at the code and the results which are produced)

Please give me a shout if you are up for it,
    thanks a million,
    ben

p.s. by the way, i hope i am asking the right question in the right place. if not please let me know. tnx

    Prolog?

DOES PROLOG CONTAIN THE LETTER C? I'm sure someone will help you, but I guess most of us don't use prolog.

Here at the General Discussion board most threads haven't anything to do with C. So asking a question about a programming language without a C in it seems valid to me.

And why does Prolog suck? Logical programming languages are quite nice.

Well, why don't you post the program... Maybe it's a logic problem and we can figure it out w/o a grasp on the language...

Yeah, it gets progressively worse, for a pHD you have to learn BASIC and for a grandmaster you need to learn COBOL

    Red face well....

ok since you guys asked for it, here it is.

The following program contains a database(at the top clearly marked!), ...

you know what, i really dont see the point of posting it if no one has the Amzi development environment, where prolog programs are compiled. If you are really interested to see the program and to challange yourself with the logical world, then please download the compiler and give me shout when you are ready...

    tnx

uhh how bout posting the source . . .

just cause we don't compile it doesn't mean that we can't find logical errors
if a contradiction was contradicted would that contradition contradict the origional crontradiction?
