No, i mean lander in nuclear physics the lander symbol (the upside down Y) represents the nuclear decay constant, the symbol for half life is 't1/2'
lamba (the upside down y) is a letter in the greek alphabet. That's why he was thinking lambda.

I think it is lambda. My physics book seems to agree too.

The symbol for half-life is called Lambda, is a letter of the greek alphabet, and, among other things, stands for wavelength.(remember speed of light = lambda times frequency?) c=yf(only y is upside down)

That would also be the speed of other waves besides light.
The word rap as it applies to music is the result of a peculiar phonological rule which has stripped the word of its initial voiceless velar stop.

Okay, I found a site with a table of Greek letters (including Lambda):

that reminds me - anyone know what blue shift is like??(add-on for half life?)
Basilik... don't waste your money. Blue Shift blows. I beat it in like 3 hours... and that was on medium. I was really quite disappointed. I'll stick to opposing force... they need a one player for it tho.

And to those who have spoken against Mech Warrior... and because of this wonderful language filter... I'll resort to t133...
