yahoo filter

This is a discussion on yahoo filter within the A Brief History of Cprogramming.com forums, part of the Community Boards category; I send someone (at yahoo) an e-mail containing a cuss word, will yahoo's filter considered it spam?...

    Of course, the user could have set up his own filter rules. Yahoo supports that, doesn't it?

    why you would bother cussing in an email I have no idea, unless you are emailing them dirty jokes,. Honestly, sarcasm and inflection in general does not translate well. If youa re gettign rejected as spam then it is either the other eprsons settigns or the ISP you are using.

    That's equally as bad, why would the ISP bother blocking such emails?

    Take the example of, you're working on a chat program in a team and you need a word filter (so johhny emails it to you). Petty to block it...
