Don't know if this is how you meant it, but I think mods here tend to take way too condescending of an opinion towards flashdaddee. Yes, sometimes it seems as if people like mutt and stealth come here just to b*tch about it (hey, afaik noone's holding a gun to your head...)...but still, it's almost as if everyone's tried to disconnect themselves from FD'ers or something...I dunno...not that I really care that much or anything, but yeesh.
I dunno - I've sorta noticed the opposite. Seems like most of the people at fd think this site is a waste of time. I've read a lot more posts saying "Cprog sucks - I'm never going back there" than the other way...

    Fair and true enough *cough*muttski*cough*

But you have to admit, the moderators @ fdde have always been respectful towards cprog, and are quick to edit away any flamings of it, rather than telling people to go back to cprog...

But then again, now I KNOW I'm reading too far into this...you can disregard this all as rantings and ravings.

No - I don't think so... And I wasn't talking about flames - I was talking about just negative talk.

as long as the #define is a valid character representation, then yes.

I won't tolerate flames against either site. I have said just recently, if there is a post at FD's flaming this place, I will close it. It's all a bit ****ing stupid isn't it...I mean these are just websites for heaven's sake. I take things to serioulsy sometimes, but everyone else does as well, so we're all guilty in a way.

Yep, I agree. But, I agree with Ken, too. Every mod over there (including myself) will delete or edit any post flaming CProg (or any other site for that matter without good reason.)

And, just for the record, I am only posting here (you probably won't beleive this) because I couldn't get onto FD. My internet access has been screwing up lately with caching or something.

*goes to see if FD is back up* It better be. Afterall, I can come here!

    >>> Oh well, maybe I'm jsut reading too far into your comments

Yup. To sensitive. [stealth] said he had outgrown this site, I suggested he look at another. I might just as well have said PH, GameDev or CPlusPlus, but knowing his familiarity with FD, it was that one that came to mind.

If you think about it in a different way, one could reasonably suggest that I was recommending FD...

No way I am following a blue whale round with a poop-a-scooper. Had to be an Aussie who thought of that.
