No, the most we can see is that the post was edited. There's no versioning involved except in the case of reported posts, where the post as it was reported is saved as a quote.
I saw versioning of post edits with the board updates.

Yes, now that you mention I see how to compare versions. Mostly pointless though, unless one is investigating some claim of abuse.

If they do, I ask them to find the smallest example that exhibits the problem and send me that. Mostly, they then find the error themselves. "Finding the smallest program that demonstrates the error" is a powerful debugging tool.

    I don't see it >_<
Unless it was introduced with 2.6.9 or up, since the board I use for reference is only 2.68.
I see no compare versions alternative in post moderation.

I don't like it... now I can't sneak insulting and evil edits in between normal posts so that I may secretly feel better about myself without actually confronting anyone.

Mods can pin-point your exact location at any given time using your IP. (They also know what color your underwear is)

But don't worry, only the sys-ops have the code for the ballistic missile silo, so we're relatively safe.

Oh... errr... to all mods, I only used women's underwear that once!

I would see no benefit in being able to view PMs not to mention it brings up a bit of a privacy issue. Also don't see much use for the versioned posts but nice to know about it.

For the morbidly curious the usual "conversation" with manav is shockingly normal, he's just a little different. He likes to talk about Bollywood, from what I can gather.
