Excel password

Hi guys,

I have a spreadsheet that is password proteted and I know the password. But for some reason when I go to tools > protection menu. I can only click on protect shared work. But the other two options I can't click are "Unprotect workbook" and "Unprotect sheet". So how can I click on thes options? Please help

Are you "logged in" to the workbook?

yes logged in and before I could go into tools > protection and unlock the sheet and workbook, but for some reason I can't now. Any idea what could be wrong?

oh I got it :), I had to unshare it before I could unlock the sheets :). Thanks anyways guys :)
