Happy Pi Day (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pi_Day) everyone! :D
Although, to be honest, it really scares me if you do actually celebrate this. Does anyone know of any math departments that have held "parties"?
It is scary
3/14 1:59:26
is the right millisecond to celebrate the joy of pi.

I admit in college we celebrated pi time every night at 3:14am. That, and we would give each other pi instead of five where instead of using all five fingers you only used 3 fingers and part of another. Man we were such nerds :D

My school celebrates this. Blame all the AP Calculus and Statistics students. ;) (Yeah, all 10 of us in a school of 280 :/)

I didn't know about this until a few days ago, but yes, my math department actually held a party in celebration of this pi-day. They offered "pita-breads" and "piggelin" (a swedish icecream).
Of course I went to this. I'm a student and if there's free food anywhere, I'm there.

My thoughts exactly. Who cares what the celebration is...there's food involved. You could count me in.
But no I didn't celebrate PI day and I've never even heard of it till now. Really starting to worry about some of you.
;)
Sadly Pi day doesn't exist, as there is no 14th month. You can't even celebrate it on the 31st of April. The closest I guess is the 3rd of January (3/1 4:15). Silly Americans. :)
Hahahahahahaha.... I can't believe someone gave me negative rep for that

14th day of the 3rd month in most countries is
14/3, I believe.
In America, it's 3/14, though.
