you'll have to clarify.
are you talking about a filter to stop spam emails coming from the outside world, or emails being sent by local machines throughout your network?

I use SpamNet (http://www.cloudmark.com/products/spamnet/) by Cloudmark.

If you don't want to use third party software, just make some message rules in outlook. Make rules to block certain senders, make rules to block messages that contain curse words, phrases like "sex" "mp3" (that'll block most of em ;)). Just see what kinds of messages come in and try selecting phrases etc that would block them, you can make it so that the rules apply only to messages coming from the outside world, you just put email addresses from your companies domain on an exclude list. I don't remember the exact procedures for all that but it'll be in the help files.

Outlook rulez are limited to 32K!!!!
max. 64 rules. (if you store mail on a exchange server)

rulez
its rules not rulez

Outlook's rule system sucks horribly. I use the rule system to move messages around and delete ones with certain text in the subject, and it may work 50% of the time.

Check with the provider of your email, many provide spam filtering now.
