I have a hdd with 2 partitions both in NTFS format, one partition is the boot, the other the system. The system has plenty of extra space, I need to add about 4 gigs to the boot partition. The problem is windows xp won't allow you to expand the boot or system partitions from windows (ie the windows disk tools). The third party tool Partition Magic can, but it costs 60 bucks. Does anyone know of other (tested and functioning) utilities that can do this I can download? Or, even better, If someone knows how to do it programmatically? Thanks much guys.
