laptop problem

Well i have an acer P3 ,64 mb ,10 gb ... the problem is sometimes it shows me this error thats before going into windows like

Smart disk falur at hd : Q
press F1 to continue...

After pressing F1 it says no operating system found....

I have to reeboot the system several times..before it works properly and yeah when i am in windows some times it hangs and gives me a blue screen with this message (Cannot write to C: )...is it that my hard drive has a problem ???

you might want to turn of S.M.A.R.T. for the Hard Drive, enter BIOS and turn that setting off
