svgalib is the only one I am aware of.
I'd imagine there are more, but I don't know.
Why would you want to develop for that anyhow? Not many people who play games will use just a console... SDL is so much better, it's cross-platform, but requires X.

uhhh ok.....if you did make a game for console, i wouldn;t play it. comsole sucks. make a windows game and ill play.

hmmm....I didn't realize everything revolved around you DarkViper. Who cares if he makes a console game or not....if he does then don't play it, it's your choice.

thats all i was mentioning. if he makes a console game i wont play it. i find console games and programming boring.
everyone else can play it but i dont like em. i wasn;t saying change it to windows. he can program whaatever he pleases. im just saying i wont play it.
im not trying to make the world revolve around me :( i dont want that. i just hate console games. thats all.

Actually, SDL has a SVGA backend :).

SDL is great. You can actually use aalib as well... heheh.

well its a good thing i got that "revolves around me" cleared up. everyone seems to be talking about it.
i am learning direct x and it seems simple enough.
