animated gif problem

for some reason un beknownst to me animated gifs aren't animating on my system in either of my browsers. I have checked each browser's preferences and both of 'em have animated gifs enabled...

what's up with this?

r u using a firewall, sometimes, firewalls stop animations too. it happened to me with ZA
