Computers. Pros. Cons.

As we all know computers were orginaly invanted to make our lives easer, but instead it has seemd to make them harder. No longer can we get away from it all as we can get it all with the touch of are fingers.

Any more thoughts on this.

They have made our lived easier in some ways; eg. businesses can operate better with computers to organise their stuff, but they can also make them harder; eg. many jobs that didn't used to require computer skills now require them, so employees must get training, etc...

computers weren't meant for the general public at first. they were things like encryption crackers and long-equation solvers (or simple calculators). stuff scientists would use.

Computer Pros:

1. Does Homework
2. plays audio CDs
3. internet access
4. Windows is not the only OS
5. E-Mail

Computer Cons:

1. MICROSOFT
2. Doesnt play DVDs without a DVD drive
3. No built-in popcorn maker.
4. Pr0n.
5. Most floppy disks can only hold 1.44 MB.

Microsoft ain't all bad, they give software for free right? I don't want to start a browser war, but I think IE6 is a great tool to get for nothing (along with a few other things ;) )

And most CDR's can only hold 700mb. That's way too small considering my HD is 40gb.

The thread..ahh yes computers are nice-they number crunch stuff we used to take weeks to do in SECONDS!

They hold,store,process and output accurate information whenever we need it....list is endless
