Perhaps some of you are interested in trying out my two of my best games. They're written in C++ using DirectX 8.
Please let me know what you think.
Bandii - platform game (http://barbapapqa.dyndsl.com/program/bandii.zip)
AI Arena - AI development game (http://barbapapqa.dyndsl.com/aiarena.shtml)
They're not quite optimized yet, especially AI Arena requires a good graphics card to run. (GeForce2 style)

Heh, cool. The "beam-shot" is really nice. Will you release the source, it would be an interesting reading (especially the platform engine). One thing though: Why did you have such a complex starting-button-sequense? (Ctrl+Alt+End). Wouldn't Enter be simplier :). Anyway, great game.
A few bugs:
¤ Sometimes, the player walks backwards.
¤ The dialog at the end of the first level is too quick, no chance of reading it all.
¤ It crashes when exiting.
PS: I recognize some of the sound effects from Klik n Play :).

Cool Game man! Good Job :D
and as for the AI Arena, I couldn't try it because 54 meg is just too big for me to download in this connection...it would take 2.5 days :D But looks cool in the screen shots!

I don't remember really, but I think it's supposed to be that way. Hmm.. sometimes you say...

Hmm, I thought the timers was system-independent, it looks good on both my 350Mhz and my 1.7GHz.

Your memory isn't kidding you, I have used Klik 'n' Play, but I've learned a bit since then.. :)

That was a pretty cool game (platform one). I'm on 56K so I didn't get to check out the other one. Also the music in the first one. I definitely heard some Doom MIDI's as well as a very familiar intro midi. I cannot put my finger on what it is though. I think some cartoon I used to watch??
EDIT: Ah ha! It's the McGuyver Theme!! Cool :)
