I downloaded dx8 sdk

Now what?

How do i use it and how do i get started?

I checked the FAQ, no links for dx, except sunlight, is there another one that starts with dx?

Buy a book!
go to www.amazon.co.uk (or amazon.com for you) and look at the direct x books. There are shed laods of books dedicated to DX8 programming and youl probably find them better than most online tutorials.

Read the SDK Documentations..i will cover a lot =)
