exactly what is c# used for? and for whatever it is used...can c++ do it?

C# is a programming language. It is used to create applications targeting the .NET Framework and powering websites as 'codebehind'. C++ can be used as well for the applications, though it lacks the powerful RAD features. C++ cannot be used for ASP.NET like code behind web pages.
