Darn Printer

howdy,
im running RH 7.2 on an AMD Athlon 750, my printer is an HP T45xi.
last month while trying to boot i had some errors "Duplicate inodes ...." after running fdisk all seemed well except i can not print anything.
lpc says "T45xi not accesible make sure LPD is running on the server"
how do i configure LPD to be visible to lpc.
as near as i can tell my printer IS visible to Linux.
where should i look next. ive tryed reinstalling the printer and i still get the same error.

BTW. the printer works fine when i boot this box in windoze. and worked perfectly before the boot errors occured.

ant ideas would be apreciated.:D

what do you exactly mean re-installing printer in windows. what i would sugges is you to read the howto-printer search on http://linuxdoc.org

howdy rohit,
i have both windozeME and RH7.2 on this box.
ME is on a 20gb HDD by itself and RH is on a 40gb HDD by itself. i use lilo as a boot loader.
when i am in windoze the printer works fine.
when im in RH the printer simply times out.
the printer worked fine in RH before i had the boot errors mentioned earlier.

ill look at the how-to and see if it helps.

look at the log files... did you configured with printtool or not ??

hope it's not a network printer .if then configure it with samba properly.
