im rewriting my website after being converted to the wonders of php. After getting bored of constantly uploading files to the server to see what they are like and tieing up the phone line 12 hours per day i have downloaded apache web server for windows version 1.3 and installed that. I then tried to instal php4.4.1 for windows. It is meant to auto-configure for your webserver, so i selected apache and then it told me that that part hasnt been written yet (!!!)
So i editied the httpd conf file as instructed - ran the configuration check whiich checked an okayed the syntax but it still wont support php documents
any ideas anyone - this is driving me mad
