If you were that dull to need help opening the box, do you think you would need the "Ultimate" version of Vista?

I must be really uncoordinated, because I hate getting things and then being unable to open them. I think it's a positive thing really. Just think of the last inconvenience you had with molded plastic.

Every package that needs instructions on how to open it fails the practicality test. The designers should be fired.

This does not apply to simple "Pull Here" markers.

If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.

But, um, where are the pictures! I don't want to hurt my G5, there is no way I could figure out how to lift it without pictures. I am supposed to hit that button that pops out a handle before I unplug it right? You know, that handle/cup holder thingy...

My fav is when you call tech support and they are so nice as to try to explain to you where and what the start button does. MS tech support did that to me.

They could have used something like this for the X-Box packaging.

When it comes to Microsoft, this is what I find ridiculous.

It's only one of the stupidest ideas in the world to create such a complicated network of upgrade/clean-install requirements. I got Media Center and I can't upgrade to Business? psh...well...looks like they've lost my business then.

Probably because they don't "match"; you'd lose the media centre functionality going from MCE to Business.
