The purpose of this board, in my opinion, is to help people not encourage folks to flame everyone.

This board has lasted so long and outlasted others because it has stayed on focus the entire time and because it is a board that fosters respect (when it is due of course). Losing all that now would be fatal.

There are times when some deserve a good thrashing but it should always for the purpose of learning, correction, or to help new people become respected members of the community. That last part is a nice way of saying when someone steps out of line we make sure they know it.

A flame board is a very bad idea.

First and foremost, this is an educational board. An flame area in no way serves that purpose. Therefore, there will not bea flame board.
