just thought id share this with you, for over a year now i have been running the system tray residnet Rain. The program suspends parts of the processor that arent in use to cool it down. Seems a good idea - yep! but there is a very big drawback.

after installing Norton utilities 2002, i noticed that this wonderful little processor saving application was eating 80% of the processing power. Yep 80%, if you have rain, waterfall or any similar program running - check its not using all your processing power just to keep the chip cool.
