    Question Upcoming Games!

Gears of War next week for XBOX360! I'm really excited for this. Some of the best graphics ever seen (real-time!). Call of Duty 3 comes out next week too. I'm semi-excited for this, but WWII has been overused a lot, and it's a little arcadey in terms of gameplay. Also, Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway is coming out within the next year, which looks awesome, as well. And, who could forget the lovely Crysis. Destructable environments, and cool physics should make it the best FPS when it comes out. Look at this side-by-side comparison of real-life pictures and ingame shots: http://incrysis.com/crysis/index.php...d=169&Itemid=2 What's everyone excited for?

I saw that Medieval II is coming out. That's the beginning and end of my list

Medieval II looks amazing. Medieval was sorely in need of an update but it in itself is still a heck of a game and fun to play.

I'll definitely be getting Medieval 2.

After that my next big game will probably be Spore...if it ever does get released.

Oh yeah, that too. I just hope it's not a big let down like most games that I'm looking forward to but don't know much about. I know Medieval'll be great, because all 3 of the previous games have been great.

Then again, Will Wright's making Spore, so I should be pretty confident in that kicking ass, too.

Grand Theft Auto 8 years ago! Yay!

One good side of me is that I don't get addicted to any game, sometimes I play some games, but I never spend more than half an hour to it (when I'm very confused and need something relaxing).

I pretty much hate all those new fancy games with mega-graphics. I play Trackmania Nations - a free and simple racing game.

And I want no updates or new versions of it. (maybe a bit more comfortable level editor...)

So you hate new games, but you also hate games that are pre-Win 95? You're kind of limiting youself for no reason, here.

Did I say that? I said I like some old games. Recently I even played one cool DOS game, but when I uninstalled my Win98, then I couldn't play it any more

I like relaxing games (and funny games) and not those ultra-silly action and shooting games.

    You said
Well, I also play some old games like Dungeon Keeper and Age of Empires sometimes, but they were at least released after Windows 95.
So, what have we learned from this
    Old games = bad
    New games = bad
    Action games = bad
    Shooting games = bad
    GTA = good?

    No-no, you got it wrong:

    Stressing games = bad
    Relaxing games = good
Old games = depends on the game
New games = usually boring (like that GTA:SA)

Twilight Princess is supposed to be amazing.

If Twilight Princess manages to uphold the level of quality seen in its opening hours for the entire duration of the adventure, it will unquestionably go down as one of the greats. Imagine Ocarina of Time, but polished and expanded and refined and generally perfected: that's what Twilight Princess feels like so far.

We still have a long way to go through Link's latest odyssey, and we'll be posting further details about the game over the coming weeks, all to whet your appetite for the game's November 19th release date. Having seen what we have, we're confident that the payoff will be worth the wa

I already pre-ordered my Gears of War order so that's no thing. I can't wait for it to be honest. And after seeing much footage of the upcoming zelda I'm more interested in it. I could get it for the gamecube but no widescreen or progressive scan is a big downside, so I'll wait for more games from the wii. No ps3 interest just yet. Only two games are interesting for the console, one a capcom game which after stating their stance on multi-platform I'll wait. My main focus is Gears of War.

Also does anyone have lumines live. I played hours of the Demo and can't get enough, but I know the base pack and even advanced pack of the game are trumped by the psp versions even by themselves.

Also to correct the thread starter, "GEARS OF WAR THIS WEEK!!!"

    I get mine Wednesday.
