    DirectX 9

I just wanted to share with you all that I received the following message from Microsoft:

It's very cool, and I will be able to know DirectX 9 and apply it to the Aurora project (as another version which will become public as soon as DirectX 9 is released).

    I am extremely happy!

I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight!

Congratulations but dont you realise whats happening?

The MGDPAT (Microsoft Global Domination Project Advancement Team) are trying to poach happy programmers from our little community and convert them - dont let it happen.

Resistance is futile - but every little bit weakens their global attack! We must stop the MGDP!!

If it's about converting, I'm already converted (much before this), I love Microsoft, it's a business, and software must be sold, and very expensive if necessary, if Mr Gates has billions, it's because he's a wonderful manager (I'm sure that's the reason most people hate Microsoft), not to mention that microsoft has excelent quality software and hardware. But I don't want to go into a Bill vs not-Bill fight, OK?

That's precisely what I said when I read the message (In spanish, of course )

Do you know DirectX 8.1 or 8.0 well or something?

thank you for sharing my joy, SS!

And yes, I happen to know DirectX, I use DirectX 7.0a since my card fully supports it, I've also read lots about DirectX 8 and this is my chance to learn DirectX 9, and while I'm on it, I hope I'll get to find some bugs! (If I do, I think I will be eligible to test another Microsoft product)

As soon as DX9 comes out, and when it becomes availble, I'll buy a DX9 compatible Video card (an ATI if possible).

Good, because it wouldn't sound too good if you were not completely familiar with DX8.0 and DX8.1, otherwise how the heck would you know what you were doing when testing DX9.0.
