    Shuttle footage

    Posted on slashdot

Video link. Best parts in my opinion at 2:58 and 7:25. Pretty neat to see it spiraling toward earth as well

Man, that was possibly one of the more disorientating videos I've watched. Pretty cool though. Shame they didn't cut the first three minutes (minus a bit), cause nothing happens there. I don't know, it's like flying, but more so - I find the concept of a body (a heavy body!!), being able to fly very ... confusing. I know how it works, but that doesn't satasfy me. It's the same with space shuttles and UFO's.

Wow, that was one of the most amazing pieces of footage ive seen.

To see it in the movies is one thing, but seeing it like that is something else

I don't understand this clip. Is this the launching of the shuttle or was it in the air already?

It's the footage of one of the SRBs disengaging from the Space Shuttle and landing on sea.
