Better than the established game companys, with their big bucks and distinct lack of creativity. Seen any original games lately?

Sure. Spore seems original, the entire concept of the Wii seems original. Take a look at some E3 news, there is plenty of originality. Those big bucks that they make can help pay the salaries of the most original people in the business.

The game behind Spore is hardly original (SimEarth anyone?). While sifting through E3, I've seen nothing but remakes with flashier graphics; if there really is a game that hasn't been done before at E3, I'd love to see it. Out of it all, the Wii controller is the most original thing the gaming industry has done in a while. I hope that the game developers will create games that utilize all of the controller's capabilities; it'd be a welcome change from the usual button-mashing.

I hate microsoft more and more every day. Why would they support trash like hd-dvd when blu-ray is so obviously superior in size, non-scratchability (that's a scientific word), and much more.
