Witch_king -
nope nothing to do with programming at all i am afraid.... i am putting together a design for implementing Microsoft Exchange within a small company and trying to incorporate all the bits they want such as owa. Its not very exciting as i have to spec things up and work out costings etc etc.
Sounds interesting. What is MS exchange exactly, I've heard the name but have not used the program yet. So this company wants to sell stuff online?
It's now 8:30 am EDST. After clocking out of my good-Quote:

MS Exchange is a messaging systerm that can be used by small organisations as just an email server or by larger organisations on a more workflow level (MS call it messaging and collaboration). My client just wants email functionality but also wants Outlook Web Access so that they can log in anywhere in the world and receive their email (eg while at a web cafe etc).
with the advent of windows 2000 et al and active directory all of these different server applications are becoming much more integrated which means that if you are trying to set up a system people now have to think much more carefully about their design structure and how everything will slot together
information on exchange for anyone interested:

Thanks.
15:28 PM. I am just recompiling some software with the QA mods to the QA mods of the German translations I got on Monday.
9:29 - I'm at work and am putting off compiling my program because plugging in the board I compile to screws up my radio reception, and the Bob and Tom Show's not done yet. So, I'm poring over books and this board looking for a solution to my most recent problem.
(I like this thread - kinda like the diary of a coder or smth.)
18:39 GMT.
Trying to stop Pixel (pet kitten) from biting my toes. Also, browsing around on various chatboards on various sites answering various threads.
I'm answering one right this second actually. I'm about to click on 'Submit Reply'.
Cat god catsturation=very, very strange and seemingly stoned.
