i missed off the accents on the letters because it was too much effort to reach the alt gr key.

You must be using a querty keyboard. I use azerty and I don't need to use the alt-gr key. So it is probably easyer for mei missed off the accents on the letters because it was too much effort to reach the alt gr key.
n’est pas also means isn't it. Maybe in France they say n'est-il pas but I never used it. But then again, I don't speak to much French.
But how did you came up with this?
i live with twp french students and they have been teaching me bits, i learned gonflable because we have an inflatable sofa in our lounge. The rest came out after a bottle of JD....
