I hate Sydney. It should have been Adelaide in that final with West Coast. Sydney had the easiest run to the grand final in the history of the AFL, they may as well have played Cartlon followed by Richmond. Adelaide, on the other hand, had to play WC at Subiacco, where they never lose.

Oh, and that had to be the most boring grand final game I have ever watched. Sydney's playing style makes the game more like Soccer than it is Football. If things keep going this way, we'll be seeing end game scores like 3-2 (points).

All that said, I was just happy a Victorian team didn't win (excuse the fact that Sydney was South Melbourne before they were kicked out not that long ago).

They've raised the Sydney Swans FC flag high on our harbour bridge, so I might take a wander down there today and take a look. It's great to see the rest of the state, which is mostly a rugby state, getting behind the Swans like this. Well done.

If only Banfield had not hit the post in the last few minutes.......

Barry Hall should have been rubbed out for punching his opponent in previous game. No way that 40m behind the ball is 'in play'.

Least West Coast won the fights (had less players wearing blood soaked bandages on their heads).

Ahhh. I could have guessed from your past posts you were a Melbournian. Now it all makes sense.
