    Tearing Up The "L" Plates

    Hello,

Today I passed my driving test and am now able to cut people up, shoot through red lights without a care and use the horn excessively like everyone else in South Wales unaccompanied.

Just wondered how everyone else dealt with trying to convince someone that you can drive (This wasn't my first time ).

I'd say the biggest thing that allowed me to obtain my license is the fact that I actually did complete 3 second stop signs.

I'd actually, until then, never realised how long a stop sign could actually be.

Holy ........ you live in South Wales UK?
I moved here 3 years ago from Doncaster and the Welsh are free spirits when it comes to driving.

I swear if I crash it's because I pull out of a junction and hit some Welshman who lost sight of his indicator.

    *edit*

I just started learning last week.

A friend of mine failed the eye exam and was still given his driver's license.

It really isn't all that hard over here.
The word rap as it applies to music is the result of a peculiar phonological rule which has stripped the word of its initial voiceless velar stop.
