Yup hehehe. That's why I start guys like Welker and Drummond. 75 return yards would give me 5 points and that's pretty much a guarantee for those guys. It's equivalent to 100 yards receiving which would be a pretty good day for most receivers.

I didn't even know we were counting return yards this year, I'm pretty sure we didn't last year. It is a risky strategy though since you might get a consistent 5-6 points from them but rarely would you get more. We'll see how it pans out in the long run

I don't think it's risky at all if you have a top tier returner. I'd probably argue otherwise since returners have more consistent scoring than most WRs. I just used 75 return yards as an example. The top returners score more than 5-6 pts/game with some averaging much more than that. The problem is to predict who the top returners will be (like with every other position).

Based on last year's stats for example:

    Dante Hall (16 games, 230 yds receiving, 1950 yds returning, 2 TDs) = 9.6 pts/game
    Eddie Drummond (11 games, 1408 yds returning, 4 TDs) = 10.7 pts/game
    Wesley Welker (14 games, 1879 yds returning, 1 TD) = 8.9 pts/game

That would be equivalent to a WR having (based on a 16 game season under our scoring rules):
Hall = 1400 yds receiving and 14 TDs
Drummond = 1500 yds receiving and 16 TDs
Welker = 1300 yds receiving and 13 TDs

Just hoping my returners perform well this year

Oops, I thought it was like 25 yards a point like it is in another one of my leagues. Seems odd that yahoo has it set at 15 yards, thats like an automatic point everytime the other team kicks the ball. And if you team is good at defense you get a lot of punts and if they are bad at defense you get a lot of kickoffs. Kind of a screwy stat.

    it was cheez, not yahoo

Brought it up with him before the season started and he was going to up it to 20 return yds/pt. When he kept it unchanged I ended up dropping guys such as Fitzgerald heheh

I was going to change it, but since the draft had already started it wouldn't let me.

    Sorry, guys.

No problem, the more you help Cshots ego grow the more fun it'll be to see him lose later on

I hate my cprog team. Does anyone want Randy Moss for a decent TE or RB?
