Anyone mentioning "real time" and strategy in the same sentence deserves a beating.

Oh, and CS is way to twitch-skill based in my oppinion. Anyone can kill everyone with any weapon given enough skill and/or luck. I prefer BF which actually is a tactic shooter, because no amount of luck or skill will be able to crack a tactic there. If you have 10 uber leet shooters with rifles, not one of them will kill a tank. You need a bazooka for that job. Even then I prefer the FH mod to the bunny hopping full auto vanilla variant that reminds me of those plastic soldiers I had in my childhood.

    Bah, there's no love.

    -edit-
Anyone ever play Savage? I only tried it out a tiny bit, but it seemed like a pretty novel idea for mixing RTS and FPS in to one.

Nah never even heard of it. Sounds quite cool though.

I think RPG's are pretty good if you're in the mood cos they're pretty involved. Morrowind kicks ass!

Diablo II: Lord Of Destruction is the best game ever made, after Mario for SNES, i've spend countless hours playing Mario, and then i played Diablo for a while but didn't like it and finaly got DII:LOD and it owns, i would have to say it was the best game for its time and even for a few years after that.

    But no Diablo III

    LOL too true

As for savage, it was quite a novel idea, and was quite fun, too bad it didn't garner much of a following... or a big one that I've seen anyway.

well aren't all games like that? i mean, eventually after enough clicking you will beat any game..its just that some games require keyboard keys clicking also, and some combine both...

Yah, I don't think I've ever beaten any of the C&C games....Rise of Nations...Rome: Total War...merely by clicking repeatedly over and over without any thought in between each click.

    Maybe more like so:

Think about the next move....click.....think about what to build next....click....set rally point...click......collect forces and prepare for assault on back of enemy's base while ally rushes the front...a few more clicks.

And wait a minute, since when did Diablo become a strategy game in any sense? I could've sworn it fell under the hack-and-slash/RPG category.

    To back my argument:

Oh, I see where it came in to play now.

And the kid in the pic is me when I was on a trip in california a year and a half ago. Mostly all of the pictures me and my friends took were completely random and most of us were screaming in them.
