The original XWing (and TIE Fighter) was the BOMB, yo. My friend had the strategy guide that actually read like a novel. It was great for my 7th grade mind.

But of course. Though multiplayer turned out to be a battle of rudder abusers. It was rare to find someone who actually had some skill aside from flinging the flightstick around like a madman and waiting for a collision. Were you in a club? If so, what club and what was your callsign?
I played XvT with Phantom Knight Squadron...played as Fluff. I didn't play Alliance as regularly; occasional games across the college LAN, but that's about it.

I really enjoyed the asteroid field furballs. I always wished they had a bit of a more difficult asteroid field, though. Something more fast-paced, where dodging asteroids was the rule instead of the exception.

The original X-Wing was fun until you realized that you could dodge incoming lasers without trying too hard. The Imperial Star Destroyers were a joke; I made it a point to blow them up whenever I could. I wish I could find my TIE Fighter CD's. I think that's the game I played the least, but I remember it being pretty fun.
If I did your homework for you, then you might pass your class without learning how to write a program like this. Then you might graduate and get your degree without learning how to write a program like this. You might become a professional programmer without knowing how to write a program like this. Someday you might work on a project with me without knowing how to write a program like this. Then I would have to do you serious bodily harm. - Jack Klein

I think the last few StarWars related games have been really disappointing. I haven't played the episode 3 game yet, but if the others are anything to go by...

Never heard of you. I played in several clubs under various names that I can't even remember anymore. Most recently I played as GOLD_Algorythm in XWA. I haven't played XvT seriously in a few years.

I can't believe no one has played Timesplitters, I mean it's like the most awesome FPS on the PS2.

Anyway, Half Life 2? Bloody masterpiece. Graphically and the physics, awe inspiring. Ok it was a little overhyped, but it's still bloody good.

I just finished the first Half Life yesterday for like the 17th time this year. I'm plaing Opposing Force now I get the feeling about half way though it, then I'm gonna try Blue Shift.

The G-Man's an evil little sh!t I just wanna ram his head under my tyres and stamp on his crotch...

I've got TS2 for the Gamecube. It's pretty cool.

Is it on the PC as well? I guess that'd be cool even though the graphics are pretty good on the console's they could be improved with a high resolution - 1600x1200 *drools*

I don't think it ever came out on PC. That'd be cool, though.

I say we should form a Timesplitters pact, raid the developers server(s), take the TS source code, and port it to PC.
