    Battlefield 2 demo!

There has been a lot of hype recently about the Battlefield 2 demo and when it will come out. A clever site played a trick on the entire community. It was supposed to come out last night at the earliest and most likely sometime today or this weekend. Here is the link.

I posted this on a BF2 forum and the topic racked up 10 replies almost as soon as it went up. Pretty funny for all those who were excited to finally get their hands on the demo!

I can't freaking wait for this game. Hopefully I still have money when I get back from Vegas.

I hear there isn't going to be a decent single-player mode... the emphasis has all been put on the multi-player ability of the game.

There wasn't really a single player mode in BF1942, either. You could do botmatches against the computer, but it's not like there was a real campaign.

The game is awsome. One of the best games I have played so far. Gameplay is smooth and is lots of fun, definately going to be a big game.

*struggles to run fairly simple games like runescape on high detail and low with itunes on*
It doesn't look like I will be playing the Battlefield 2 demo anytime soon.
*cries* One of you will let me come over to play right?
    My computer is awesome.

I can run the game on max settings with a stable 60 fps. This game is amazing, I love the squad system.

Nothing like rushing the enemy main base with a full boat and an attack chopper flying low behind you for extra cover. Then taking out the commanders artilery, UAV and radar, making him pretty useless.

Wish I could find where screenshots are saved, I took some awsome screenies.

Who would want to hunt down totally brainless bots in a game that has no continuity when you can get online and blast your buddy who brings some smarts ? BF rocks. I like the WW2 theme better than any modern stuff, so I really hope the FH mod will be out for BF2 soon. If not, I will stick to FH@BF42. If you like BF, have a look at FH, it brings some realism to the bunny-hopping-tanker parade that BF is.

    BF2 is great

When in doubt, read the FAQ.
    Then ask a smart question.

That's a good way to blow off steam. In BF1942 when I was ........ed off I'd load up a map with a full complement of bots on the lowest difficulty there was and just blast the crap out of them.

What video card do you have GC? I was actually pleasantly surprised that mine was one that was specifically mentioned as being supported (Geforce 6600 (PCIe)).
