    Animal Cruelty

I’m pretty sure that everyone of you here on cboard have expressed cruelty to animals in one way or another when you were young, or perhaps you still do it for the hell of it?

I sometimes wonder about the squirrels that I see on the side of the road (sometimes in the middle of a lane) – are they really accidents or did some people intentionally run that poor creature over?

Think of all the circus animals that are not being treated right!

Anyway, post the cruelest animal abuse you have ever seen, or just anything amazing or out-of-this-world behavior. I’ve always been inspired by something amazing or stupid-but-funny things that animals do.

no, I've never thought it was fun to hurt animals... and I know for a fact that some of the squirrles on the side of the road were killed for fun... the cruelest thing I've ever really let happen (besides to insects - I'm a bit of a tree-hugger) was somebody I knew was throwing his cat through the air...

I've heard stories though... one being that some kids cut a hole in a cat's ventral side while it was alive and put a live mouse in it...

on topic, long time ago i woke up one moring to see that my VERY PREGNANT cat had been hit on the very edge of the road, right in front of my house, where somebody would have had to swerve to hit it.... i was just a kid too... but thats life.

I don't know if it is cruel or not, but as a kid my brother and I routinely tested cats, when they got old enough to run, for their ability to land upright when dropped in an upside-down position. (99% of the time, their abilities were excellent).

Interesting fact: Its more dangerous for a cat to fall upside down from 1 foot then from 10 feet.

Hmm, probally the most recent thing I can remember is the mouse in my backyard. I was taking down a tent and saw a mouse running 15 ft away, well I took a pole and threw it at it to scare it away, well the pole nailed it on the neck and the mouse died instantly. I just flung it into the field and went on my way, I hate those buggers.

My friend is really cruel to animals, and insects, he's always finding new ways to have fun with them.

I the past he's put a frog in a jar, thrown a banger in it, dived behind a bush and watch the banger go on. It wouldn't break the jar, but it was smoking and it stank. You could see the Frogs Guts!

Another time is when he dug this pit, and flattened it out hard so the contestants couldn't escape, he caught a load of ants, put them in, he then impailed some worms to little sausage sticks, and watched the ants eat them. The when he was bored he would throw in 3 bangers and blow it all up.

He likes explosions and is good at them. He used to be in the army and has his own mortor. He says it can fire over 3 miles. I think he may be crazy; he killed his own dog. HIS DOG!!!!
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left.

I've never really done anything intentionally to an animal (that i can remember) but I did, however, nail and kill a duck on the golf course! (heh, not my fault, it was in the middle of the fairway!)
if a contradiction was contradicted would that contradition contradict the origional crontradiction?

I used to torture small insects and ants when I was a kid. I killed so many that soon everytime I closed my eyes, all I saw was ants...ants...ANTS!!

I stopped later on. I still regret my actions.

Is that what the "head doctor" told you to say?

EDIT: Changed bold words to avoid confusion
