TCPA - anyone heard of it?

Apparently they are planning to take over the way software systems work.

When I read that, I figured it was a hoax of some kind. I did a search for "tcpa hoax", but came up empty. Pretty scary if it's true, that's for sure. Of course, I would like to learn more about tcpa from a less biased source than www.againsttcpa.com before I get worried

    I'm not worried.
The idea that every new piece of software written would have to be certified is ridiculous. This will never happen.

Yeah... some guy randomly started harrassing us at the old FD about this. Your entire world would change if this happened and the open-source movement would have to die instantly. It'll never happen.
