I've watched mine when it's not on screensaver with nothing else running and it never goes above about 55%. It may jump up when it goes on screensaver... but I doubt it.

Mine uses as much as it can get. It's using between 88 and 95 right now....When I stop typing it jumps to 95-98.

Aye, I noticed you were lagging a bit. I'm catching up.
If I did your homework for you, then you might pass your class without learning how to write a program like this. Then you might graduate and get your degree without learning how to write a program like this. You might become a professional programmer without knowing how to write a program like this. Someday you might work on a project with me without knowing how to write a program like this. Then I would have to do you serious bodily harm. - Jack Klein

how? I regularly turn mine off but I never lose hardly any processing. It picks right back up where I left off.

It was no longer working, just spinning it's wheels. I couldn't open up the GUI, and my comp was real slow - and I didn't want to reboot...so I had to end the procecess.

usually it writes progress to a file after every frame... I have mine set to write every 15 minutes (sometimes I'm frequently rebooting/halting processes/etc because of experimentation)

edit: it seems as if our team is still constantly growing

edit2: no, I'm not a very competitive bugger, look at what place I'm in... and even though it says I've had two active processors in 50 days, they're both the same processor running different operating systems.
