And 7smurfs, if you're getting WUs that high, you probably haven't checked the "Allow > 5mb WUs". You'll get more points, but the WUs will take a little longer and you won't do as many.
There isn't an option like that in the Win98 version, unless I'm missing something in the config

Just another question about F@H, here
they say that because OpenGL cannot be used by 2 programs at the same time, it will cause the program running in full screen to minimize.

I was just wondering why games like Battlefield2 etc ( games that use directX ) also minimize... are these games in any way using OpenGL as well, or is their explanation on the site just to have an explanation for the problem...

I just find it strange since they have F@H bin packages for almost every major OS, that they didnt take the time to write the program ( the windows version ) in a way (win32 without any graphics library for example ) it wouldnt cause any problems when using another OpenGL based program at the same time.

Something I did not see in their FAQ is the following question I have.

Suppose I use the console version , is there anyway to let the window dissapear and let it run in the background like a task( some kind of option I might not be aware of in windows XP maybe ... ). I´d rather have the console version running, since it wouldnt minimize the game everytime I want to play something. But I don´t like the fact that there would be a window constantly open just for this F@H.

    Please, enlighten me.

yea speaking of which i dont like there ltitle animation
that they have i wish it was a just a little dialog with
the vital information i think that the design of the program
waste to many cpu cyles that the program could be using.

As far as it minimizing games, just exit FAH before you start a game. You probably shouldn't have both running at the same time anyways if you want the game to run smoothly. I exit FAH before entering BF2 or any game for that matter, and I have a fairly high-end PC. And then I just start it back up whenever I'm done gaming.

    ILV, you're just picky.

So download the "no-nonsense" console version

Of course during Bf2 I shut down F@H since BF2 is pretty demanding, but im the kind of person that plays a game for 20 minutes and then start playing another game ( I tend to lose focus on something after a short period )...
Anyway, guess I´ll have to live with shutting it down once in a while then...

I (used to) play CS with FAH going in the background and didn't notice much of a difference... then again I have 1Gb of memory and a midline P4.
