what!? yes they do hurt, especially when you have people "turning up the volume" on their guns. I've had many half-dollar size bruises from paintballs, and they do hurt.

thats why most places let you test the FPS for legal bounds. I had the benifit of a radar gun my dad had for making sure they werent too high
I had the tippmann model 98 with the flatline barrel (the curved barrel that puts backspin on the ball to make it fly a greater distance). that thing sucked.
