Maybe if you do some volunteer programming they'll hire you when a spot opens up? Or maybe they'll be eternally grateful to you and make generous donations :D
Well, I'm glad that wasted year of my life served some purpose... You think I can get yahoo to do a story on me?Quote:

its not the AWD TT, but it is a RT.
91 Stealth RT. Its one of only 36 produced as an RT model with every option but a sunroof. Which is fine by me, because even in poor condition my feature/color combination in a RT package makes it worth 3500.00.
i'm not keeping it, its getting a fresh coat of paint and going up for 3k obo in about a month. Want a pickup.
>>I know! There has to be some way I can make some money this summer from programming.
I found a way...well sorta...I'm applying for an apprenticeship program (ASE), and you get $1000 to cover expenses. Good experience anyways, but it will be a lot of work. Not to mention commuting 60+ miles every day. Quite a few of the positions are programming related, so I have a decent chance at it.
But I still might not get accepted...
>>Good for you, what kind of engine you making? I would try and make a FPS myself except for the fact that I have no means to make the high quality graphics that would be required in a retail game.<<
The engine will be open-source and will hopfully support first-person games as well as third-person.
The graphics don't necessarly have to be high-quality. Average graphics with great gameplay is still a good game.
BTW, if your interested in helping out, give me a PM :)

www.sourceforge.net is a good place to hop onto opensource projects, as we all should know.
I wonder if it would be hard to edit Firefox so that on the menu instead of saying "Bookmarks" it says "Yee hah!!". Hmm!
I have a friend who was a little skeptical about FF when he first saw it - he made a semi-negative comment on how it has 'bookmarks' instead of 'favorites' as IE has it - guess he's a little cynical - anyway, maybe he would have liked your idea, Kleid-0. Of course it took him less than a day to get hooked on FFQuote:

Thank you :P
Back in Win 95 and Win 98 you could rename the start button and the basic menu items. Some friends and I changed the school computers so that Run was Walk adn things like that. Oh and for anyone who knows of the program that let you change the start button name, our way was so much better as we weren't limited to the 5 character limit that program was.Quote:

If you wanted to go over 5 characters, did you have to buy the "Pro" version? lol. I hate it when they do that!
Nope. It was a direct editing of the exe. They used a character prior to the start of the string to denote how many characters were in the following string.
