    Favorite quote

What's your favorite quote from Cprogramming.com's forums? To kick off the list, nobody who was there can forget this little gem:
I wrote the code and now need to know the names of the technical bits I have used without noticing.
My best code is written with the delete key.

I'll stick to my assumptions and you can stick to not assuming. And if my code causes a bug, then that's what you get for porting my code to a stupid architecture
I would prefer to ask for space for objects of the same type as the pointer, and not have to worry about what the type is specifically.
Yeah, what the hell does it matter what you actually need?

    7. It is easier to write an incorrect program than understand a correct one.
    40. There are two ways to write error-free programs; only the third one works.*
