Ok, so I got sick a couple weeks ago with my once a year flu. (I never get sick), and I have asthma so it messes with lungs bad, and I started coughing constantly. I went to the doctor and got medicine for it, and started using an inhaler. It went away, and my cough just came back. My inhaler doesn't work, and I feel no other things like runny nose or anything for a flu. Anyhow, the coughs are really deep ones that make a "Kah" sound. Sometimes it gets the rumble cough, and it isn't a dry or phlem type of cough.
So basically, to save me another trip to the doctor (I've missed school about 7 times/came in late in two weeks), anyone have ideas about what it might be?
The inhaler I use is albuteral. It doesn't work at all. The cough is also always there. If it might be a factor, my room is really humid, and I'm in there a lot. I thought it might be a chronic cough or something?
Note- I realise that you guys probably aren't doctors, just looking for opinions based on personal experience. By the way, we are having an outbreak of tuberculosis at my school. Bunch of people ended up having it. Although my cough has been going on a week or two before they found it, it might be something that I had caught then not known about.
