Just thought I'd notify everyone who might be interested in watching this. It sounds pretty interesting.

I doubt there is any new info that I don't already know about. I've been gaming since the Intel 8088. Prior to that were those dungeon crawls and some very obscure text games from the 70's on main frames, but most commercial stuff started in the 80's. King's Quest 1 being a major hallmark of them as well as Sublogic's (partnered with Microsoft) Flight Simulator. Also can't forget about the old Commodore 64 and Atari 2600.

Yah, I watched bits and pieces of it (as I was recording it) and I noticed they put a lot of plugs about current-day things like violence in video games and stuff like that. A documentary on the work that goes on behind the making of games would definitely be a lot cooler.

The closest thing to that would be some of the stuff on G4techtv.

The show on there called Icons is probably one of the best as far as going in depth on how the game was started/made.
