do deadlines motivate you to finish the task quickly ?
Yes
No
Sometimes
do deadlines motivate you to finish the task quickly ?
I don't wait for the future; it comes soon enough.
Multitasking becomes a serious problem with hard set deadlines sometimes.
I am sure you all have had a required thing to do, and then a million other things come up as well that have precedence at that moment.
Still I think that deadlines also keep you focused on what you need to accomplish and make you work faster some of the time... especially if you are going over your deadline...

They don't exactly motivate, but
they make me work faster.

deadlines are a very good motivator - i work better under pressure - if im not working under pressure i will keep taking coffe breaks and cigarette breaks and find other things to. If its close to a deadline i will focus on the work.

No. Wait. Don't hang up!
This is America calling!
Deadline does not really matter. All I do is 10%/day and it will be finished.
