    I have to agree with a lot of the comments I've read. First off, the pic on the bio really does have to go. I won't be as blunt as Xterria, but I will say, like Ober, that it _really_ is not becoming of her. I would also go with pic #4 (I didn't look at them all but it's a good pic).

    I had the same thought about the main picture. Somehow you should try to make the background fade to transparent toward the right.

    About the 6GB/mo, what is the hosting company the site is running on? I know PowWeb provides 5GB/day for about $7 and Brinkster provides 30GB/mo for about $7 also. It really depends on how popular you think the site will become. With all of us checking out the page you said it's eaten up a mere 30MB? If it did that much traffic every day it wouldn't even exceed 1GB, so I think you're alright.

    I'll add that I host some files for FD and I don't get a ton of traffic, but some of the files are big and I've only reached about 1.5Gb in transfer/month.

    And 6Gb is kinda small, considering I pay 9.95/mo and I have 20Gb.

    one thing...the type face and size is wayyy too small and hard to read, especially the bold.

    since an overwhelming majority of you think the bio pic is horrid, I changed it to pic #4. pic #4 is one of my favorites anyways

    >how tall is this girl anyway? 5'2?

    i believe she is 5' 1"

    >one thing...the type face and size is wayyy too small and hard to read, especially the bold.

    I think it is perfect in IE. What browser are you using? I did try browsing the site in Firefox once and it seemed a little too small, but still readable.

    [edit]

    data transfer has now hit 60 MB. So assuming traffic like this every day of the month, that is roughly 30 MB of traffic a day. (It was probably actually a lot more yesterday than any normal day since I was doing a lot of work on it yesterday). Looks like the 6 GB bandwidth should be great.

    one complaint: i cant SSH into the server. I wish i could.

    You must be suffering from Huge Monitor Syndrome. How big is it anyway? (the monitor I mean)

    Use:
    Code:
    font-size: 90%;
    or greater for readable blocks of text. If the user wants:
    Code:
    font-size: x-small;
    they can use their browser settings to have tiny text.

    Yes, tiny text may look good, but people may want to actually read the content. At least the font size is not fixed, unlike some other sites... Not everyone has the same setup. There are different sized monitors, different monitor resolutions, different eye-monitor distances, lcd monitors, crt monitors, different eyesight, different browsers, different font renderings, etc.
